The event is free for everyone. However, we do encourage everyone to register in advance and fundraise to help save dogs’ lives.
There are plenty of dog-friendly hotels in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. We recommend the Best Western Georgetown Hotel & Suites, the Best Western Dulles Airport Inn, or the Best Western Tysons Westpark.

No, each individual will check him or herself in at the registration tent on the day of the event.
We encourage both kids and dogs to attend! Scooby-Doo will be there with fun activities for kids of all ages.
All dogs are permitted; however, we ask that they remain on a leash unless they are in the off-leash dog run area.
You don’t have to be in Washington, D.C. to help Scooby-Doo and Cesar Millan! Get involved with local shelter Pack Walks. If you do not find a Pack Walk in your area, create your own virtual walk! Find more information HERE.

Look for the directional signs at the event. The walk will start on the gravel path, close to 14th street.
The walk is approximately one mile long.
We recommend carpooling with friends, taking pedicabs or walking if you’re travelling with furry friends. Humans can take the metro, bicycle or a taxi as well! The National Mall is accessible via Washington Metro, with the Smithsonian station located on the south side of the Mall-- near the Smithsonian Institution Building between the Washington Monument and the United States Capitol. Also, look out for our Pack Walk Pet-i-cab drivers who will be providing free rides* to and from the National Mall.
